Swimming Trust

History

The Swimming Trust was founded in 1996 by a charitable donation for the purpose of supporting competitive swimmers in financial hardship, particularly those at schools, colleges and universities. The Trust is proud to have been able to help many young people in this way.

More recently, we recognised the need for wider activity. In response, the Swimming Trust embarked on a major programme of capacity building to add to its existing framework. An enhanced partnership with the Amateur Swimming Association (ASA) has resulted in a much broader remit in terms of both beneficiaries and supporters.

The Swimming Trust is looking forward to an exciting future, developing swimming opportunities for all.

The Swimming Trust is registered with the Charity Commission, registration no: 1058338.
