At your swimming club:
The Swimming Trust relies on the efforts of individuals for its general funds.
There are lots of ways you could support our work; from organising a club event, taking on a personal challenge, or just making a donation. It’s completely up to you to decide what you want to do.
Simply promoting the work of the Swimming Trust within your own swimming club is a great way to “spread the word” and help our cause.
But why not organise a sponsored swim, collect donations at club events or name us as your club’s charity for a whole year. You can download posters for your notice board or we can supply an advert to go into a competition programme – we can even supply collecting boxes.
Down load our A4 poster and fill in your event details to support the Swimming Trust.
Taking on a personal challenge:
By choosing the Swimming Trust as your nominated charity for events like the Great Swims or London Marathon you can make a real difference to our work.
Not-for-profit = more for charity
Virgin Money Giving is 100% not-for-profit, which means more of your donations come to us to help those who need it most. Your support will make the difference.
If you would like to help the work of the Swimming Trust by sharing some of your time and skills, please let us know. How much time you give us is up to you, you can either dip in and out every now and then, or volunteer on a regular basis.
Volunteering can be a lot of fun and it’s a great way of meeting new people in your local area. You will learn new skills and build up valuable work experience while donating your time and talent to a good cause.
Donate your people skills at one of the Swimming Trust events
You could be doing anything from:
- Meeting and greeting guests or visitors to our stand;
- Selling raffle tickets;
- Distributing brochures, and;
- Helping with donations and gift aid.
